3. Spiritual: This might not be for you if you are not religious, but spiritual self-care is about being in touch also with your values and what matters to you. When you develop a sense of purpose, it is much easier to recover from stress and depression.
4. Physical: Physical activity is so important for self-care, because not only does it have obvious health benefits it reduces tension and anxiety too.
5. Social: All of us are social, even if we think of ourselves as being more introverted that some others we know. Being social helps you to understand that you aren’t alone; you are valued. Do things with folk who you love to be with and who improve your sense of well-being.
